Afghanistan on Sunday warned that the war in neighboring Iran will negatively affect the entire region and expressed its 'deep regret' over the spread of violence to many regional countries. The spokesperson for the Taliban's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, said on platform X: 'The recent political and security developments in the region have created unprecedented tensions that will have long-term negative effects on the entire region.' In response to the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a joint Israeli-American attack, the Iranian Embassy in Kabul lowered the flag and raised a black flag over the entrance.
