On Thursday, the police of Afghanistan reported that a man who attacked with a bomb in a bag killed a child and injured another 11 people at a market in the city of Kabul.

Witnesses report that the man looked nervous and moved suspiciously, raising suspicions among those nearby. Suddenly, he detonated an explosive device that led to the death of one child and injured 11 people.

"This attack targeted innocent citizens, including children. All possible measures need to be taken to identify those responsible," said a representative of the local police.

Investigators established that the bomb was detonated by a remote-controlled mechanism and the suicide bomber, who, according to preliminary data, committed the attack against the backdrop of a cultural event at the market.
