Afghanistan's National Emergency Management Authority reported that most deaths in the country were recorded in central and eastern provinces, including Paktia, Paktika, Wardak, Daikundi, and Logar. Heavy rains caused floods and landslides, leading to the complete destruction of 130 homes. The authority added that conditions remain "unstable" in parts of the country on Monday, with the potential for more rain and flooding. Kabul warned of ongoing risks from adverse weather conditions.
